April 7, 2023 – My conversation with Fred Jacobs. Fred is the owner of Jacobs Media Strategies which celebrates its 40th Anniversary this Fall. They provide guidance to media brands and organizations, including commercial and public radio stations.
Fred is credited with the creation of the Classic Rock format in the early 80s. He was an inductee into the Radio Hall of Fame in 2018. In 2006, he was inducted into the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
And last October, Fred and his brother Paul were co-recipients of the NAB’s National Radio Award. http://www.jacobsmedia.com
