June 22, 2023 – My conversation with Julie Ziegler. Julie is the Director of News and Programming at WTOP radio in Washington D.C. She is a Penn State grad and was first introduced to WTOP in 2002 when she served as an intern at the station while still attending Penn State.
She started her career at the station in 2003 and she has served in a variety of roles over the last 20 years including Managing editor of WTOP’s sister station, FederalNewsRadio.com. She was part of the team that created and produced an award-winning true crime podcast.
She also served as the Digital News Director of WTOP.
